I saw an article in the Norwegian news the other day that made me smile. Someone found a dead spider in some newly bought furniture. Oh the drama, this shocking story obviously made the headlines in 3 or 4 of our largest newspapers as the spider was "relativt stor og hårete" (relatively large and hairy). Unless the hand belongs to an unusually large human I'd say that spider hardly qualifies to be put in the large category. Here's a spider the kids and I were playing around with yesterday, this one was roughly 20 cm from "leg to leg" and far from the largest we've seen. It catches and eats birds in it's web.......
