Ok, let me be the first to admit that we do have an unusual amount of fun here in the tropics. I haven't been cold in almost two years, and last time I did any snow plowing Manchester United were a good football team. But despite the overwhelming percentage of fun beach pictures on this blog, that is not where we spend most of our time. Most days are quite busy as we try to juggle all our different responsibilities in a culture where things don't move along at the speed and efficiency we're used to at home.* About a week ago a 40ft container showed up at our doorstep, and before we knew it half the house was filled with boxes and furniture. Yesterday we had quite a few friends over to help us re-stack all the stuff so we could get to our front door again. We're storing the things for a family that's on it's way here sometime next year. They also sent their car, which we've been offered to use while we're here. Not only do we live for free in what can only be described as a mansion.....now we also have a new car!
The other night we were invited over to another family's house for a time of worship together. It was really nice to sing in English again, or for me....mime in English again.

* it's likely the average British person would be overwhelmed by the speed and efficiency of things here. By "at home" in this case I meant Norway.
