The last few weeks are a bit of a blur to me, it's been busy although I can't recall what's caused all the stress. Esther's been ill and unable to sleep much, causing a bit of a setback in the kids schooling. That in turn has kept me from being able to focus much on language study. It becomes very clear how much we rely on Esther to get through the day when she's suddenly unable to continue running this household. I've tried to step up my efforts at home to cover for her, but I'm convinced 10 men couldn't do the work of 1 mother. The kids and I are more than excited she's on the mend.
Other than a sick wife, I've got little else to whine about. The sun keeps shining, the kids are doing well, and we're approaching mango season. We've also booked our tickets for our first trip home in 2.5 years. Friends, family, and socks here we come!!
Oh, almost forgot. We had a shocking experience the other day. Samson was playing at the pool with his friends when he suddenly got electrocuted. I went over to see what could have caused it and found this........

I should perhaps mention that Samson made it through rather unscathed.
